Share Draft / Checking Accounts R.I.A. Federal Credit Union currently offers five different types of Share Draft accounts to our members. The Basic Share Draft Account, Interest Draft, Business Draft, as well as the Members Classic and Members Gold. The first three accounts are described below. If you need more information, please contact any one of our offices. Share Draft / Checking Our Share Draft account requires no minimum balance although a minimum deposit of $25 is required upon opening. With a credit union share draft account you will be able to enjoy these benefits: Direct Deposit, carbon copies of each draft / check you write, monthly statements, Overdraft Protection, (if you meet our loan qualifications) and a SHAZAM®Chek Card / Debit Card. Interest Draft If you are interested in earning dividends on your share draft account, this may be the account for you. Interest Draft offers all the benefits of the Share Draft / Checking account above plus, dividends are paid on the maintained minimum average daily balance of $2000. Business Draft This account is directed toward our self-employed members, but is available to anyone. Business Draft requires a $100 deposit to open and you are required to maintain a balance of $2500 to receive dividends. There is a $.20 fee for each draft that clears and a low balance fee if the average daily balance falls below $1000. Share Draft Printers We offer share drafts from Liberty Check Printers. They provide a wide variety of check styles and options for our members. Costs vary by style selected and are available for as little as $11.52 for 175 duplicate drafts.
Members who are enrolled in the Members Classic, Members Gold or Sterling Silver draft accounts must contact the credit union directly to place reorders.
