R.I.A. Federal Credit Union Welcomes New Marketing Intern Maddi Carr
The marketing department has added a new name to its 2015 starting lineup. St. Ambrose University junior Maddi Carr will be R.I.A.’s Marketing Intern for the spring and is ready to hit the ground running!
Maddi will be a new personality on the R.I.A. FCU Facebook page, Twitter and Get it Together blog. With a young voice on board, the Credit Union hopes to establish a greater presence among students in the community. Through social media posts, college events and R.I.A. FCU hosted events like the upcoming Corporate Center Grand Opening in April. Maddi will be sharing the importance of financial literacy and benefits of joining the Credit Union family to people of all ages. Keep an eye out for her signature (^mc) on Facebook, Twitter and on The Real World: Dollars and Sense blog.
With a marketing intern, R.I.A. FCU not only gives someone good experience in marketing and the professional world, but also increases the Credit Union’s relationship with schools in addition to satisfying the needs of the Credit Union and its expansion, Jake Ward, VP of Marketing explained.
In addition to her internship with R.I.A. FCU, Maddi is a Public Relations and Strategic Communications major at St. Ambrose University where she is captain of the JV Women’s Volleyball team and chairperson for SAU Dance Marathon, SAU Students Against Destructive Decisions and St. Ambrose Love your Melon. She also participates in Marketing Club and writes for Her Campus online magazine and SAU’s newspaper, The Buzz. Maddi is originally from Pekin, Illinois, where she lives with her parents and younger brother.
Over the next few months, Maddi will be at several events hosted by R.I.A. FCU; please don’t hesitate to approach her with questions, comments or concerns about the Credit Union and its new projects.
R.I.A. FCU is excited to have Maddi as a part of the Marketing Team and can’t wait to see great things happen as the year progresses!
