From July 1st through July 28th, 2017, all branches of R.I.A. Federal Credit Union collected schools supplies for area teachers. R.I.A. Federal Credit Union members and employees were encouraged to bring school supplies and cash donations to any of the branch locations.
With the generosity of members and employees, over $1,800 worth of school supplies was raised for the Davenport Community School District, Bettendorf Community School District, Rock Island/Milan School District, Moline-Coal Valley School District, East Moline School District, Tomah Area School District, Wilton Community Schools, and Savanna Community Schools.
Too often, teachers have to spend their own income on supplies for their classrooms, and R.I.A. Federal Credit Union’s goal was to alleviate that.
R.I.A. Federal Credit Union takes pride in the active role it plays in serving the community through various programs and initiatives.
